Since (in my indifference when i started this blog) food is included in my blog-description, i suppose i should keep up to that. I present to you:
today's breakfast
Its couscous with broad beans and bacon.
I saw an episode of a cooking-show on BBC where they highlighted these broad beans. They talked about it being underrated and neglected, even though it's great and delicious and oh, SO cute!
In other words: the underdog!
And well, i always root for the underdog. As soon as someone seems to be the underdog, you can count on me to back them up!
So when i saw these babies in the supermarket the next day. ohhh boy i just HAD to have it!
Then when i got home, reality struck me. What the hell do i do with.. broad beans?! So day 1, I decided to just wing it; threw it in an omelet, along with some red onion i found in the fridge.
Result: ewww..
The red onion just gave the broad beans a nasty kick in the balls. They did not get along well :(
By the way, is it weird having this for breakfast? Well technically it was lunch, though my first meal of the day.
ohh i dont know. I'm not really all that up-tight with what should be eaten when.. I would happily eat pancakes for dinner and icecream for breakfast. and i have.
Hey. dont judge me!

It was a list titled: LEALDADE POR.
" ..[they] noted all the reasons for loyalty:
Guilt toward the other; common steps of development; shared suffering; shared joy; solidarity of mortals; common intentions; common struggle against the outside; common strenghts, weaknesses; common need for closeness, common taste; common hatred; shared secrets; shared fantasies, dreams; shared enthusiasm, shared humor, shared heroes; common decisions made; common succeses, failures, victories, defeats; shared disappointments; common errors."
jeez i love this book! anyways.. then it goes:

a passage of Night Train to Lisbon [by Pascal Mercier]
It's an error, a nonsensical act of violence, when we concentrate on the here and now with the conviction of thus grasping the essential. What matters is to move surely and calmly, with the appropriate humor and the appropriate melancholy in the temporally and spatially expanded internal landscape that we are.
Why do we feel sorry for people who can't travel? Because, unable to expand externally, they are not able to expand internally either, they can't multiply and so they are deprived of the possibility of undertaking expansive excursions in themselves and discovering who and what else they could have become.
i swear, this is so inspiring T-T and so true!!
i have to travel for my internal expansion, duh! lol i'm gonna convince my parents with this argument.. xD

Mighty Morphin' Maths!
'Kayy
so I've been keeping a file on my desktop for like a month now and everytime i come up with a subject to talk about in my blog, i type it into that file - basically creating a toblog-list. Every time I do that, I expect myself to find the opportunity some OTHER time -yes! procrastinating- to actually type out the post about the subject in question.
Butt,,, my procrastination skills seem to be in constant collision with my will power. So i haven't gotten to an actual blog yet. YET!
now for your entertainment only, here's a conditional: Blog = W > P
W being Will power and P being Procrastination. Proof? You're reading my blog. so therefore W is greater than P. ;) another factor is L (laziness).
at this point L > W.

as long as you remember the good in people
Do you ever look back and see how stupid you have been sometimes? Those missed opportunities, the things you should've left alone and all your other regrets in life..

music food travelling and books?
guess i dont really talk about food, music, travelling nor books..
i still love it though! ehm, i still eat.. still listen to/play some occasional music. okay i DONT travel anymore (that just breaks my heart T-T) and i dont really read that much anymore =/
i should start up my reading and writing again though, cuz i'm starting to notice that my fluency is already deproving! and that kinda scares me :s
to tell you the truth, im STILL reading Night Train to Lisbon. been at it for like a year now or something :s ridiculous really.. but its just a book thats pretty difficult to read. i wanna give it my full attention, understand everything it says, which is quite a challenge really.. its deep and philosophical. there are like a million flashbacks which makes it hard to keep up when u occasionally have a week or month-long reading break! there are Portuguese lines in it. some French, some Spanish and Hebrew even!
anyways. i think im only just halfway through the book! i kinda forgot already what happened in the beginning though. eesh...
...what a rant =/ im gonna quit on u guys for now!
..ehm. yea!

what about,,
what about.
What about the things i've never done..
the feelings i've never felt,
and games i've never played.
words i've never truely said,
or sayings i've never really meant?
is it too late now?
